Super proud of all of these kids that competed today in their first 2 mile course at Sonora. Lots of medals were brought home and the 8th grade girls took second place as a team. The future is bright for these 15 rockstars! They compete Tuesday in Eula if you see them tell them good luck!

3rd graders explored the properties of different materials during a structure and materials lab in Mrs. Gonzalez's class today.

4th graders are busy working on task cards, classifying different types of matter by their properties.

Great job to the cougars and lady cougars at the Brownwood cross country meet. Girls took 3rd as a team with Presley Polk 7th place and Kenadee Millican 8th place. Brownwood won the girls division with San Angelo Central in 2nd place!! Lots of PRs were achieved today!! This season looks bright!! Pre regionals is next Saturday with them all luck if you see them!!!

Reminder, no school on Monday! We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe Labor Day!

Come support our Lady Cougars! Junior High has their first game of the season this evening beginning at 5 pm. High School will be traveling to Sonora this week for the West Tex Fest tournament. Come out and catch these ladies in action! They've been putting in a ton of work and are improving every day!

Students were eager to learn place value during math and physical properties during science in 2nd grade today.

Happy Monday! 5th graders worked on multiplying two and three digit numbers in Mrs Hanley's class. During Mrs. Blalock's class students brainstormed ideas for a point of view writing assignment.

2nd graders used oil pastels on their hot air balloon drawings during art. Mrs. Hopkins does an amazing job of including our school theme into some of the art projects.

It's been a great week of learning at Christoval Elementary!
