Lady Cougar Volleyball Player of the Week is Lexie Young!
Lexie is a strong outside hitter that had some adversity and heartbreak early in the season. She rehabbed an early stress fracture in a boot for a couple weeks and is back and better than ever. She had 2 kills and 3 aces last week vs. San Angelo Saints. She's always encouraging to teammates and a great leader.

On Thursday, both JH teams will be leaving the school to travel to Colorado City at 1pm. The 7th grade game will be at 4pm and will be ran more like a scrimmage than a game due to Colorado City not starting school as early as we did. The 8th grade game will follow at 5pm and will be a regular game. The JV will be leaving close to 3pm for their game at 6pm. Tickets will be sold online only, I am adding the ticket link.

Congrats to the Lady Cougars and Cougars XC teams that ran at the Brownwood meet yesterday. The varsity girls team placed 3rd as a team Presley Polk placed 7th and Savannah Woods placed 8th, and were 1st in their region! Boys placed 8th as a team but 1st in their region as well Kyle placed 5th and set a new PR with a 5k time of 17:30! JV girls team tied for 4th, Sina Hohendof placed 5th. Chris willberg placed 6th on JV boys. JH was at sonora yesterday doing a 2 mile relay. The girls took 10 teams and the top 5 girls teams swept the meet taking 1st thru 5th place and medaled!! JH boys had 2 teams and they took 2nd and medaled and 8th. Congrats to everyone for chasing greatness!! Next week there will be no JH meet and the HS will be at ACU on Saturday!!
